The conference will examine social policies and their outcomes from multiple perspectives and assess current challenges to social progress. Planned topics include, "Can we Afford Social Welfare in a Global Economy?," "The Future of the Social Democratic Model," "Social Policy and Populations with Special Needs," and Challenges to Social Welfare in the 21st Century."
