News from IEG-MAPS
We are pleased to announce to the internet community, especially to our
registered guests all over the world, that in as of May 2004 several new maps have been placed on our server:
We have concentrated in our effort these past months on charting the
administrative development of the larger German states and on the
political development of the European state systen since 1789. The
overview maps on Europe are now complete and depict the major boundary
changes between 1789 and 2003. Exerpt maps on European regions will
become available in the course of the year.
Moreover, during the past weeks we have also been busy extending our
German series to the post 1945-period. About 15 maps have been
constructed and will be placed on the server in by July/August of this
year.
IEG-MAPS will be present at the German Historical Convention
