The University of South Carolina Aiken invites proposals for papers to be presented at the third annual Pickens-Salley Symposium on Southern Women. This multi-disciplinary symposium will be held March 24, 2005, on the USC Aiken campus, some fifteen miles east of Augusta, Georgia. The theme will be "Southern Women's Community Involvement, Then and Now." The deadline for proposals is October 1, 2004. Papers will be juried and invitations will be sent by October 15.
