An academic workshop on the formation of policy towards the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK, North Korea) will be convened at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs in Stockholm, Sweden, on 17-19 March 2005. The workshop invites comparative approaches to the coordination of North Korea policy, both within and among Japan and other major actors in East Asia, and particularly in connection to the country’s suspected nuclear development. Those interested in participating are welcomed to contact us telling their interests, along with submitting working titles and short abstracts of approximately 200 words no later than 1 September 2004.
