Legal Medicine and its History

|
The Historical-Medical Library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the dedication of the Robert L. Sadoff Library of Forensic Psychiatry and Legal Medicine, a four-thousand volume collection donated by Dr. Sadoff in October 2002. This collection, formerly the largest collection of its kind in private hands, will greatly enhance the College Library's ability to serve scholars and bibliophiles interested in the history of medical jurisprudence, penology, criminology, and other fields closely related to forensic psychiatry.
The program for the day follows. The symposium, formal dedication, and reception are free and open to all. Reservations are not necessary, but we would appreciate a reply from those planning to attend. For this purpose or to subscribe to the dinner (or for further information), please contact Marc Miller at the College of Physicians (215-563-3737 x265; or mmiller@collphyphil.org).
