Friends and Networks in Medieval Europe, East and West: A three day conference (organised by The Medieval Friendship Conference series) dedicated to the subject of FRIENDSHIP in medieval Europe.
Papers are welcomed on any aspect of friendship in medieval Europe, including Western Europe, Byzantium, the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. Each day of the conference will feature a specific theme: Theme 1: Friendship and social networks; Theme 2: Images of friends and friendship in art and literature; Theme 3: Action and gesture: cultural manifestations of friendship.
