On June 25 and 26, 2004 in Los Alamos, NM, the Atomic Heritage Foundation presents “Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project,” to commemorate the Oppenheimer centennial with tours, dinner and a day-long symposium of leading Oppenheimer and Manhattan Project experts. On Friday, if security conditions allow, tours will go “behind the fence” to some of the original Manhattan Project buildings as well as through the house where Oppenheimer lived. The program includes dinner Friday night at Fuller Lodge, the heart of the Manhattan Project, and the symposium on Saturday. For tickets and further information, see our website.
