The Melbourne Historical Journal collective is calling for papers for publication in the 2004 edition. Published since 1961, MHJ is now a refereed journal, for the publication of postgraduate work in history.
MHJ will review any articles of historical research. Current or recently completed postgraduates from any institution inside or outside of Australia may submit an article.
The MHJ collective will award a prize of Aus$250 to the best article in the 2004 edition. All articles published will automatically be considered for the prize.
Journal articles should be between 5000-7000 words and constitute an original piece of research. The collective asks that all applications conform to the MHJ styleguide, which may be viewed at our website.
Papers should be submitted to the address provided below or as an attachment via email.
The revised closing date for submissions for the 2004 edition is Monday, 31st May 2004. For more information about MHJ, visit the MHJ website at the web address below or contact the editorial collective via email.
