The Atlantic Council of the U.S. will send a delegation of current upper-level undergraduate and graduate students to the Danish Atlantic Youth Summit (DAYS), July 6-12, 2004 in Aalsborg, Denmark. The Council will employ a highly competitive process to select a limited number of participants to attend.
Sponsored by the Danish Atlantic Treaty Association, students will focus on the topic "Conflict and Democratization: Consequences and Challenges” and meet with top Danish officials and academics. Students must submit a resume, a copy of their unofficial transcripts, one letter of recommendation, and a letter of intent (outlining special qualifications and interest in DAYS).
Cost: $250, plus travel and personal expenses
Deadline: All materials must be received by 5:00pm EST April 30, 2004.
Notes: Only students age 20-26 are eligible for this event.
