Call for Manuscripts
Berg, publishers of Fashion Theory, are pleased to announce four new journals:
- Cultural Politics
- Material Religion: The Journal of Objects, Art & Belief
- Home Cultures
- Textile: The Journal of Cloth & Culture

Submissions should be geared to any or all of our four new journals: Cultural Politics, Material Religion, Home Cultures and Textile: the Journal of Cloth and Culture.
Cultural Politics explores precisely what is cultural about politics and what is political about culture. Material Religion seeks to explore how religion happens in material culture-images, devotional and liturgical objects, architecture and sacred places, works of art and mass produced artefacts. Home Cultures considers topics such as consumption, material culture and the meaning of home, design and new technologies, and politics, domesticity and social change. Textile provides a platform for points of departure between art and craft; gender and identity; cloth, body and architecture; labour and technology.
