Title of Exhibition: The Artist as Quiltmaker: Pathways & Perspectives
In celebration of twenty years of exhibiting contemporary art quilts, FAVA presents this unique exhibit. Inspired by our Pathways and Perspectives symposium, which featured an open discussion with leading contemporary quilt makers, curators and historians, this invitational exhibition brings together some of the world’s leading quilt artists with emerging artists in the field, presenting a unique look at the development of the art quilt since the inception of The Artist as Quiltmaker.

OPENING RECEPTION: May 23, 2 - 4 p.m.
GALLERY HOURS: Tues. - Sat., 12 - 5 p.m. No admission charge. Handicapped accessible
FAVA is an independent non-profit arts organization founded in 1979, supported by memberships and contributions, sales commissions and grants from the Nord Family Foundation, the Stocker Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council. The air-conditioned gallery is located in the New Union Center for the Arts, and 1874 building on the National Register of Historic Places, at 39 S. Main St., Oberlin, OH 44074
