The 22nd Annual Brown-UConn-Yale Graduate Student Conference in Medieval Studies will take place on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at Brown University. Intended to bring together scholars to discuss a range of issues concerning the Medieval World, the conference is a wonderful opportunity to meet and gain feedback from peers in a wide variety of fields.
Abstracts from graduate students are welcome on all topics concerning late antiquity through the late Middle Ages. We encourage papers from all disciplines, including:
ANTHROPOLOGY ARCHAEOLOGY ART HISTORY CLASSICAL STUDIES COMPARATIVE LITERATURE HISTORY HISTORY OF SCIENCE LANGUAGE STUDIES LITERARY STUDIES MUSICOLOGY PHILOSOPHY RELIGIOUS STUDIES THEOLOGY URBAN STUDIES WOMENS & GENDER STUDIES
Please submit abstracts of no more than 300 words for a 15-20 minute paper, preferably by e-mail. Also include a brief personal statement or one-page CV, with full contact information and a tentative assessment of any audiovisual equipment required.
