The Atlantic Council is currently accepting applications from U.S. students interested in attending the Istanbul Pan-Atlantic Student Summit (I-PASS), June 26-30, 2004, in conjunction with the official NATO Summit.
The Council will select five students to represent the United States through a highly competitive application process. Application information for U.S. students is available on our website. Complete applications must be received by the Council on or before April 12, 2004. Students will be informed of their status by April 28, 2004. Non-U.S. citizens should consult their national ATA. We have invited top Alliance officials to address and interact with the students, including Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Secretary General of NATO, General James L. Jones, Supreme Allied Commander, Europe (SACEUR), President George W. Bush, and Chancellor Gerard Schroeder. I-PASS is being organized in conjunction with the NATO Public Diplomacy Division.
The cost of this event is $280, plus travel and personal expenses.
