Call for Papers: Comparative Education Review

Comparative Education Review, now under the editorial leadership of Mark Ginsburg and David Post, both of the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for International Studies in Education, invites submissions of discipline-based, social scientific and humanistic global comparisons of education processes, policies, and practices.

A publication of the Comparative and International Education Society, CER encourages authors to relate the accumulated knowledge from the field to issues of immediate concern for non-academicians. Over the past half-century, CER has fulfilled a complex responsibility. Not only must it disseminate knowledge from various disciplinary perspectives, it must also bridge the gap between constituents who are based in the academy and others who work in governments, in agencies, and in NGOs. Distinctions between service and scholarship must be blurred, because effective scholarship is service, helping to reunite our constituencies.
