The Professional Development Area of the Midwest PCA is seeking presenters who can facilitate or co-facilitate sessions and/or workshops devoted to all aspects of academic professional development. Topics can include job searches, CV development, writing for publication, professional ethical behavior, and etc. Topics targeting graduate students as well as tenured, tenure-track, and part-time college faculty members are welcome.

Submit a 1-2 page description including the (a) topic to be highlighted, (b) a 150-word (or less) abstract of what participants will gain from this information, and (c) a brief summary of your qualifications (by post, FAX, or e-mail) to the Area Chair, Angela Nelson. Please include your (a) Name, (b) Complete mailing address, (c) College/school/professional affiliation, (d) Telephone number, (e) E-mail address (preferred), (f) FAX number, and (g) Audio-visual equipment requests: VCR and/or Slide Projector ONLY. If papers and/or proposals are sent as e-mail attachments, then they should be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat pdf format.
