The Teaching Popular Culture Area of the Midwest PCA is seeking papers and proposals devoted to all aspects of teaching popular culture including methods, pedagogies, and strategies, course development and curricula as well as teaching philosophies, narratives, and “good practices.” Papers and proposals targeting diverse educational levels—e.g., K-12, community college, college and university--are welcome.
Submit one-page descriptions with title and 150-word (or less) abstract (by post, FAX, or e-mail) to the Area Chair, Angela Nelson. Please include your (a) Name, (b) Complete mailing address, (c) College/school/professional affiliation, (d) Telephone number, (e) E-mail address (preferred), (f) FAX number, and (g) Audio-visual equipment requests: VCR and/or Slide Projector ONLY. If papers and/or proposals are sent as e-mail attachments, then they should be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat pdf format.
