2004 AAA Annual Meeting
PANEL ON THE OFFSHORING OF PROFESSIONAL WORK

I would like to invite paper proposals for a panel on the offshoring of professional work to be submitted for the 2004 Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association in San Francisco (November 17-21).

This panel will concern both the implications of offshoring for the career prospects and professional self-worth of white-collar workers and its effects on the people and cultures of those regions to which jobs are being sent.

Please submit a paper abstract of up to 250 words to Carrie Lane Chet via email by March 17. Feel free to email with any questions.
