- For undergraduate and graduate students
- Home-stays with Maya families, language and cultural immersion
- Seminars in Anthropology and Ethnography provide foundations for independent fieldwork
- Students design and conduct their own Independent Research Project
- Research areas include but not limited to: education, heritage, tourism, identity politics, sex/gender, art and art worlds, history, political economy, popular and youth cultures,
- Work Exchange Assistantships available for graduate students (tuition reduction)
- 14 credits in Anthropology, Ethnography, Independent Research, and Spanish or Maya Language
- Early Applications accepted Feb 20 to April 10 with 10 day notification
