TASA is an interdisciplinary summer academy hosted by the University of Bonn since 1994. It brings together advanced students, PhD candidates as well as scholars and professionals from various countries in North America and Europe and various fields of study, including Political Science, History, Economics, Law or International/European Studies.
This year's TASA (06/15-07/10) will focus on the effects of the EU enlargement for the union and its member states as well as its prospects for the transatlantic relations. Courses on this topic will be supplemented by sessions covering a wide range of issues central to the understanding of the relations between the United States, Canada, and the states of Europe.
The program includes excursions to European and German government institutions in Brussels, Luxembourg, Strasbourg and Berlin as well as to Frankfurt (Oder) and Poznan in Poland.
