CALL FOR PROPOSALS
DEADLINE: MARCH 15, 2004

The 47th Annual Meeting of the African Studies Association will take place from November 11-14, 2004 at the Marriott Hotel in New Orleans, LA. The meeting will be held jointly with the Canadian Association of African Studies. The National Program Co-Chairs are Dennis Cordell (Southern Methodist University) and Philip Zachernuk (Dalhousie University).

Proposals are due at the ASA Secretariat postmarked on or before March 15, 2004. Please follow proposal submission guidelines. Incomplete proposals and/or proposals submitted via e-mail will not be acknowledged or forwarded for review.

Proposal abstracts should be double-spaced, 12-font type and no more than 250 words.
