"Italian Americans Before Mass Migration: We've Always been Here"
We invite presentations by researchers and scholars on the conference theme. However, papers on other topics relating to Italian American history, literature and culture are also encouraged.
Proposals for papers should have a title and be no more than one-typed page in length. Proposals for panels and other presentations should include a title, and be no more than two-typed pages. A 150-word biography of each presenter must be included with address, telephone number and e-mail address. Special equipment, such as video, powerpoint, etc. must be requested as part of the proposal. Proposal deadline is June 1, 2004.
