Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of History announces two new MA programs- Ottoman and European Studies. The programs are designed to concentrate specifically on the History of Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean. The students are required to complete a minimum of 21 course credits (7 courses) in addition to MA Thesis. Students admitted should have a good command of written and spoken English. For foreign students enrolled in the Ottoman program, the course in modern Turkish is obligatory. MA program in general aims to provide the necessary skills that will enable students to carry out original research using primary source material.
