The CSCH/SCHE invites papers for its annual meeting. Senior and junior scholars along with graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals on all aspects of the history of Christianity, Canadian and non-Canadian.
The Major Theme for Congress 2004 is: Confluence: Ideas, Identities and Place
"The primary meaning of Confluence is a junction of two or more rivers,
but it also connotes a coming together of people and ideas.
It implies an ending but also a beginning, a place of exchange,
and a point in time when vital decisions must be made."
This is simply a suggestion. Papers and/or panels on any subject related to religious history are welcome.
Please send proposals to the programme chair by February 2, 2004.
Some financial assistance is usually available to those presenting papers.
