An international colloquium designed to examine the systemic roots of the crisis in corporate governance, providing an opportunity to critique how policy is created and the pivotal roles played in that process by ideas and interest groups. In developing a synthesis, it is specifically designed to map the loci of power and reveal the limitations that are placed on any structural overhaul through which entrenched interests are threatened.
Taking place over two days, the colloquium will utilise plenary and breakout sessions to critically assess the post-Enron landscape.
Application Details
Those interested in taking part should forward detailed abstracts by February 1, 2004. The application to participate should include a summary of the proposed paper, with a short explanation as to how this will fit into the general theme of the colloquium. Those accepted will be notified by February 28, 2004. Full papers should be submitted by June 1, 2004. All papers will be available on CD-Rom to participants in advance of arrival in Belfast.
