Interdisciplinary conference for scholars and creative writers. The theme of the 2004 Conference/Workshop will be “Living Waters,” and the event will be held at one of New England’s finest waterfront resort inns in an area that is well-known for tidal pools, coves and salt marshes. The Keynote Address will be delivered by conservationist, Carl Safina, author of Song for the Blue Ocean, Eye of the Albatross: Visions of Hope and Survival, and the Seafood Lover’s Almanac. Other featured speakers will include Cape Cod essayist Robert Finch, Jean Craighead George, Andrea Cohen, and Kaiulani Lee.
