Interdisciplinarity in the Practice and Theory of Educational Histories
In anticipation of the Canadian History of Education Associationís upcoming 25th Anniversary, the Programme Committee invites proposals for individual papers and panel sessions from scholars, researchers, instructors, students, and teachers in schools, postsecondary settings, and communities, and from other interested participants. The theme of the conference is intended to encompass paper and panel sessions that discuss the histories of education from a variety of academic fields, disciplines, methodologies, comparative perspectives, theories, and arguments. Submissions outside the conference theme are welcome, and are also encouraged from international scholars and students.
The paper or panel proposals must include: the name, institutional affiliation, and contact addresses and email of the presenter, an abstract of 250 words in length, and a one-page curriculum vitae that gives details on qualifications, publications, and current research. For panel proposals, please include this information for each presenter. Send the proposal via email attachment, fax, or regular post to the Chair of the Programme Committee by 2 APRIL 2004 (this is an extended deadline).
