The First Seminar of 2004 for the Georgia Workshop in Early American History is here!
On Friday, January 23, from 3-5 PM, Wythe Holt will be on hand to discuss his paper: “The Whiskey Rebellion of 1794: A Democratic Working-Class Insurrection” This month’s Workshop will be in Room 201 on the main floor of LeConte Hall, the primary building for the History Department at the University of Georgia.
A reception will be held after the seminar and all who are interested are encourage to attend a dinner with Wythe at one of our fine local restaurants.
Those coming to the seminar need to download and read the paper prior to the workshop. It can be accessed in two-ways:
