Florida State University hosts the 3rd Morris Conference on the History of Florida and the Atlantic World, on February 13 & 14, 2004. This year's theme is "The Winds of Change: Environmental, Political, Social, and Cultural Forces in the Shaping of the Atlantic World." Professor Stuart Schwartz, the George Burton Adams Professor of History at Yale University, will present the keynote address entitled "Hurricanes and the Shaping of Circum-Caribbean Cultures."
