Papers are invited for a special session on the work of Carol Shields. Papers may focus on any aspect of the author's work. Please send paper proposals (no more than 500 words) with a short biography and a 50-word abstract to Karen Macfarlane via email by January 15, 2004.

This ALCQ-ACQL member-organized session is proposed for the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, May 30 - June 1, 2004.
