The GAH has extended the deadline for proposals for papers and panels for its 2004 annual meeting. The GAH will accept proposals until January 15, 2004.
The GAH invites panel and paper proposals from university faculty, graduate students, public historians, and independent scholars for its annual conference, to be held April 2-3, 2004, at Kennesaw State University. Papers and panels that address the theme--"Selling The Past"--are particularly encouraged. The GAH also welcomes proposals from all areas and subfields of history, including US history, world history, public history, regional studies, and proposals focused on the teaching of history. New Proposal deadline: Jan. 15, 2004.
The GAH has reserved rooms at Spring Hill Suites, 3399 Town Point Drive, Kennesaw, GA. This hotel is just across the street from the KSU campus. The rate is $81.00. The phone number is 770-218-5550. Sessions will be held in the University rooms at KSU’s student center.
