The editors of Insight Turkey are pleased to announce the launch of their new website. Published since 1999, Insight Turkey is Turkey's leading English-language quarterly on Turkish domestic and foreign policy issues.

Insight Turkey is published by the Ankara Center for Turkish Policy Studies (ANKAM), a newly established research center focussing on Turkey's regional policies in the Balkans, Black Sea region, Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East.

In its first issue, due to be published in January 2004, the primary focus will be "Turkey and the Middle East". The Middle East once again moved onto the center stage of world politics and Turkey has played a critical role in how events and developments in the region were shaped. Hence, we believe it is not only timely but also critical to provide more informed comments and analysis on Turkey and the Middle East. In this issue of Insight Turkey you will find articles dealing with "Turkish-Israeli relations", "The domestic factor in Turkey's Middle East Policy", "The Synagogue Bombings in Istanbul", "The AKP's foreign policy approach" and much more.
