Call for Moderators
New Frontiers in Graduate History
8th Annual Graduate Student History Conference
Thursday February 26 - Saturday February 28, 2004
Call for panel moderators.
Panel moderators will be asked to provide a brief introduction of the
presenters and their paper topics. Following the presentations,
moderators will be expected to comment succinctly and critically on the
papers before opening the floor for questions. Moderators will be
provided with conference papers and biographies two weeks prior to the
conference in order to allow for sufficient preparation. At that time moderators will also be provided with contact information so that they may communicate directly with the panelists.

Law, Protest, and the State
Empire and Nation
Science, Technology, and Society
Popular Culture and Consumerism
Ecology and Geography
Race, Ethnicity, and Identity
Work, Class, and Community
There is a $15.00 conference registration fee that enables all moderators
to attend other panels and the dinner on Friday, February 28.
