A look at some current biocultural debates.
Connections between the German-speaking world and the United States go back more than 300 years. These ties have often been complex and at times problematic. This conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum in which to discuss such connections, both past and present.
The conference will focus on German-American connections in the following four areas: Literature and Culture, Migration and Society, Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition/ Foreign Language Pedagogy. Please see our website for a detailed description.
