Call for Papers and Presentations for the MWSA Annual Conference at Spring Arbor University March 19 - 20, 2004. The Conference Theme is "Women's Critical Participation in the Contemporary World." Papers and presentations should address the following:

In the face of economic down turns in this country, global activity, continued educational disparities, and other issues, women must remain active participants in the social, political, educational, and spiritual life of the nation. What are the ways in which women are stepping forward to address societal issues? How do we prepare young women to replace some of the "women warriors" who have been on the front lines for decades? What are the lessons of the past decade that we bring into this new millennium and how do we reshape those lessons to make them applicable to current reality? What is the new work for women in our society and world?
