The American Society for Legal History welcomes proposals of complete sessions or individual papers in any field and period of legal history for its next annual meeting, to be held in Austin, Texas, October 28-31. The Society particularly encourages sessions or papers that deal with comparative topics or topics other than the 19th- or 20th-century U.S. Younger scholars who may find it more difficult to submit complete panels are encouraged to submit paper proposals.
Panel submissions should include the following: a c.v. for every person on the session (including complete contact information); 300-word abstracts of individual papers; and a short description of the panel. Individual paper submissions should consist of an abstract and a c.v. The deadline for submissions is February 1, 2004.
