We welcome papers or panels that deal with any area of British Studies (broadly understood as the study of Britain, its component parts, and its empire) across the arts, humanities and social sciences. Especially welcome are broad thematic sessions or roundtables that explore interdisciplinary issues and new directions in British Studies.
Proposals in hardcopy form must include FOUR COPIES of a statement of the overall purpose and goals of the paper or panel; a 200 word abstract for each paper; and a one page curriculum vitae for ALL participants. A current mailing address, telephone number, and/or email address must be included. The deadline for receipt of proposals is: 1 December 2003.
