The United States Military Academy Department of History announces the 2004 West Point Summer Seminar in Military History. Held annually in June, this month-long experience is open to faculty and advanced graduate students in the field of history who wish to enhance their ability to study and to teach military history.
The Summer Seminar focuses primarily on the Western European and American military experience in the modern era. The program consists of a series of seminars led by USMA faculty, a variety of guest lecturers, as well as Civil War and American Revolution battlefield staff rides.
Lodging and a stipend are provided.
