The International Cultural Research Network has been deluged with requests by scholars to send in late abstracts because the call for papers due date fell when the academic year began thus was missed. To be fair to everyone the abstract due date has been extended to 30 December 2004.
To date we have received some fantastic abstracts, among them- the military, art, aboriginal policy issues, history, politics, health, women, children, and education. The submissions are from 20 countries to date.
This interdisciplinary conference is open to anyone interested in presenting research. Once you become an ICRN member ($20.00 for two years) you are eligible to have your research published in one of the peer reviewed publications. We do not publish proceedings.
An affiliation to a university or institution is not required althoug many of our members are academics and professionals. Independent Scholars and Ethnic/Cultural scholars are especially welcome. Plans for the cultural trips in Italy before and after the conference are near completion and very competitively priced. Several cultural events will take place during the conference and the banquet will consist of a cultural evening. For further information please visit the website.
Sincerely,
Annette Richardson, Ph.D.
