The Independent Scholar - Call for Papers (Open Submissions)

The Independent Scholar is a quarterly newsletter published by the National Coalition of Independent Scholars (NCIS). TIS welcomes contributions of news and articles, book reviews, and notes on any topic clearly of interest and relevant to independent scholars and independent scholarship (e.g., staying au courant, writing for a general and scholarly audience, remaining connected to colleagues and friends based in academic institutions). When in doubt, please contact the editor and ask. Preferred length for articles is no more than 2,000 words.

NCIS works to facilitate the interaction of scholars with libraries, research facilities, funding sources and professional organizations. Members represent disciplines across the spectrum of disciplines. NCIS is a nonprofit organization.
