CALL FOR AUTHORS
The Encyclopedia of Politics: The Left and Right
We are inviting academic editorial contributors to the Encyclopedia of Politics: The Left and Right.
This is a two-volume encyclopedia for public libraries and undergrad college libraries to be published by Sage Publications. The work is made up of some 500 articles, delineated by liberal (left) and conservative (right) viewpoints both in the United States and internationally. Article topics include the people, events, movements, philosophies, theories, and perspectives of political thought, from the late 1700s through today.
Each article, ranging from 400 to 5,000 words is signed by the contributor. The General Editor for the encyclopedia is Dr. Rodney P. Carlisle, Professor Emeritus, Rutgers University, who will review all the articles for academic consistency.
If you are interested in contributing to the encyclopedia, it can
be a notable publication addition to your resume and broaden your publishing credits. There is also a small honorarium paid for each article, $25 to $135, depending on article length. Each contributor needs to write approximately 10 articles by April 15, 2004.
The list of articles is already prepared, and as a next step we e-mail you the article list (Word file) from which you can select topics that best fit your expertise and interests. Additionally, you will receive Style Guidelines that detail article specifications and honoraria payments.
