The 7th Central American Historical Congress will take place on the campus of the National Autonomous University of Honduras in Tegucigalpa, July 19-23, 2004.

Final deadline for receipt of proposals for papers and complete sessions is February 29, 2004.

Paper sessions will be divided into 16 thematic symposia, including:

• Cultural history
• History of education and teaching of history
• History of ideas and historiography

• History and archaeology
• History and the environment
• History and gender

• Migrations and settlement

The official language of the congress will be Spanish.
