We invite paper and panel proposals in any area of history from undergraduate and graduate students for the second annual history conference at Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas. The conference will be held on February 27-28, 2004. The keynote speaker will be Professor Michael Fellman, Simon Fraser University. His lecture is entitled "Twisting the Cross: Terrorism and the Founding of American Society." A cash prize for best undergraduate paper will be awarded by Phi Alpha Theta, Alpha Gamma Zeta chapter.
