Greenwood Publishing seeks an author to prepare an 80,000-word manuscript for a reference book for a general (non-theoretical) audience on popular American music of the Depression era. Author must be willing to write an accessible overview on the topic according to pre-established set guidelines; author must be able to stick to a deadline. Please only apply if you have experience writing on music and/or college experience teaching courses on music and its role in American culture (i.e. not performance courses).
