The Gulf Coast Consortium of Latin American Colonialists invites paper proposals from faculty, graduate students and independent scholars on topics related to the theme of the inaugural conference. Proposals should be no more than 200 words in length and are due no later than November 1st. Notice of acceptance of papers for presentation will be sent by November 15th, and papers will be due by January 1st. Attendance by all interested scholars is heartily encouraged.
