The online journal "Humans Write" requests submission of 3-5 page articles on HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION. While all articles will be considered, we will give preference to those that address practical issues and/or promote further discussion and action. Topics may include human rights educational forums, classes, community programs, conferences, policies and ongoing problems, among others.
Articles may be written in English, French, German or the language of any country in which Civic Education Project (www.cep.org.hu) has a presence. Articles not written in English must be accompanied by an abstract in English. The publication is copyrighted but authors retain full rights to their work.
Submission deadline for the Winter 2004 issue is NOVEMBER 3, 2003. Submissions received after that date will be considered for the Spring 2004 issue. Send all submissions via Word attachment to Janet Helin, via the email address below. Include your name, email address, institutional affiliation, academic field, and city/state/country. Articles may be single or double spaced.
"Humans Write" also sponsors special collections of papers on human rights education. If you have a collection of unpublished papers from a conference or class, feel free to submit them to us for consideration as a special issue.
