An invitation from the Society of Early Americanists:
NOVEMBER 1 is our deadline for receiving proposals for papers to include in the three sessions our Society will present at the '004 Conference of the American Literature Association, which will be held in San Francisco, May 27-30, 2004.
Simply send me a one- or two-page abstract. If you e-mail it, please include the text of your abstract in the body of your e-mail--rather than sending an attachment. Here's the e-mail address of choice: seapanelsat004ala@english.fsu.edu. Sending it via snail-mail and/or fax is fine, too. Please send to the mail address below.
Rather than specifying a topic for any of the three panels--as Zabelle Stodola did quite successfully for the '003 ALA, focusing one on "Pedagogical Case Studies"--we're simply leaving the topics open for these '004 panels in San Francisco.
Thanks ahead of time for your submissions and for any questions or suggestions you might have between now and our November 1 deadline.
Cheers,
D. M.
