Book on the history of African-Russian ties

I am putting together an edited volume provisionally entitled "Africa in Russia, Russia in Africa: Three Hundred Years of Encounters." I would like to solicit contributions relevant to this rather broad yet largely unexplored subject. The nature of the project will probably lead to a preponderance of historical submissions, yet (a committed interdisciplinarian that I am) I would consider works of a broader interdisciplinary nature. The language for submissions is English only but I might be able to arrange translations from Russian if the need arises. We have a reputable publishing house ready to commit to this project once we have all the contributors lined up.
