The 2004 Australian and New Zealand American Studies Association Conference, ‘Borders and Boundaries’, will be held 14-17 July at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. The conference organisers welcome all proposals in the field of American Studies. We are particularly interested in papers that reflect the ‘paradigmatic shift’ occurring within the field of American Studies toward examining U.S. society and culture within a global framework.
