Evaluation of the Bush Administration
Publisher
9.11 and the US wars against Afghanistan and Iraq aroused American patriotism. Although it began with a low rate of support, the Bush administration dramatically increased its popularity at the height of these wars. In domestic politics, President Bush implemented tax cuts, even though on a smaller scale than he had expected. Bush's economic policy reflected the Republican ideology. However, as the US economy slides into a moderate recession, and the management of the occupation of Iraq does not go as smoothly as he had wished, support for the Bush administration has gradually declined. Under the US "new empire" Japan is forced to make significant military decisions. Considering all these factors, the presidential election of 2004 will be an important election. I plan to edit a monograph series analyzing from interdisciplinary perspectives various aspects of the successes, failures, features, and legacies of the Bush administration.
Publisher
ArchiTect Press (Tokyo) http://www.smallworld.co.jp/ (online publisher)
This is the second academic monograph series. The first one, the Significance of Koizumi's Visit to North Korea is quite successful, consisting of more than 20 monographs (both in English and Japanese). The second series will follow the same kind of procedure as the first one.

In other words, we will review all the monographs submitted on this topic. All the accepted monographs will be published as part of the Study of the Bush Administration Monograph Series by ArchiTect. Then, I will select the best monographs and ask their contributors to add or edit their monographs to be compiled into an edited academic book (A publisher has not been decided.)
