The Greenwood Publishing Group, an award-winning publisher of reference books for the school and public library market, is developing a high-end reference set of American Regional Cultures. Contributors are needed for the following chapters:
- New England Regional Cultures: Sports & Recreation
- Mid-Atlantic Regional Cultures: Art
- Mid-Atlantic Regional Cultures: Architecture
- Southern Regional Cultures: Art
- Southern Regional Cultures: Ecology & the Environment
- Southern Regional Cultures: Ethnicity
- Rocky Mountain Regional Cultures: Film & Theater
Chapters will need to be *overviews* of the given topic, as directed by established series guidelines. (In other words, this is not a call for papers, but an invitation to submit a cv if you are very qualified in one of the above areas, and if you are willing to write an accessible overview according to preset guidelines.) Chapters must be approx. 15,000 words in length. Contributors will be paid an honorarium.
